My husband and I took a quick trip to San Francisco to see Forest Blakk live to celebrate 8 years since we began dating a few days ago. Forest Blakk is one of my favorite artists and I was so excited when my husband surprised me with tickets! When we began searching for where we would want to stay for our quick overnight trip, I happened to find Hotel Del Sol and I’m so happy I did!

Hotel Del Sol is the most fun and funky hotel we’ve stayed at in California! This hotel has such such a fun, vibrant California vibe. Located near San Francisco’s Marina District, Hotel Del Sol is both family and pet friendly with gated parking and a heated pool. Upon our arrival, we checked in and even enjoyed complimentary cookies and drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly too!

We enjoyed sitting in the patio below the palm trees and enjoying the bright, colorful views before heading up to our room. The Love Shack, which was the perfect size for the two of us, was clean and comfortable with a fun California mid-century beach vibe. It honestly felt like we were right next to the beach and not in the city!

Hotel Del Sol is located within walking distance of lots of shops and boutiques, eateries, and even waterfront sports. Enjoy grab-n-go complimentary breakfast and relax by the heated pool before exploring all San Francisco has to offer. We enjoyed coming back after the concert to relax in the cozy sitting space in our room with some Door Dash before retiring to bed. Thankfully, the bed was super comfortable so we were able to get some much needed sleep after a long day.
