No matter the time of the year, just elfin’ love yourself! Puns aside, to fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness. Fall in love with you. Find joy and happiness within your body and soul.. Everything starts from within and how you feel about yourself. Start feeling worthy, valuable, and deserving of receiving the best life has to offer. Be your own reason to smile.

It took me until a couple years ago to truly fall in love with me and who I am. I had to look at myself and decide to make an effort to be kinder to myself. That is when I began working on me. We so often find ourselves stagnant or settling in life. We get in a rhythm of life. But why do we stop dreaming and trying to be the best version of ourself along the way? I took a really in depth look at what I wanted in life and who I wanted to be. Self-love is not a one way street for everyone. In truth, self-love is different for every single person. For some, it may be working on goals and being kinder to yourself. For others it may be as simple as looking in the mirror each morning and saying positive affirmations. No matter how your self-love journey looks, make the conscious decision to keep on keeping on!

Self-love is often a battle. Some days are good and some days are bad. Even to this day I often wake up and just feel it is going to be one of “those” days. That is the moment I look in the mirror and say “nope, not today Christian. Smile, do something that makes you happy. Dress up and find my inner happiness.” no matter how hard it may be.
