Fall is in the air which also means we have been cooking and baking many of our fall favorite recipes. Recently I decided to try using the air fryer to cook my personal fall favorite, apple crisp. It turned out delicious! The best part is that not only is this recipes fast and easy, it’s a healthier recipe compared to some making it a guilt-free dessert the whole family can enjoy.
Ingredients:
•2 apples (any type, Granny Smith is our favorite)
•Cinnamon
•Lakanto Golden Monkfruit Sweetner
•1 packet of unflavored oatmeal
•I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray
Instructions:
1. Cut and dice apple into bite size squares. Spray air fryer pan with nonstick spray and evenly spread apples in pan.
2. In a bowl, mix 2 tsp of cinnamon, 1 unflavored oatmeal packet, and 1/4 cup of Lakanto Golden Monkfruit Sweetner with 2 TBSP of butter substitute. Let it sit for 1-2.
3. Spray diced apples with a bit of butter substitute. Spread topping evenly over apples.
4. Cook in air fryer at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
We love to top it with Greek yogurt or whipped cream! It makes for a deliciously healthy dessert without being high in sugar or calories.
What is your favorite fall recipe?
