Happy Pride Month! Pride is so important. I have been so blessed to have friends in my life that are apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride is just as important as it was years ago. Millions of people struggle with pride and their identity. This month is for the young person who is beginning to recognize something is “different” about them, the person who is fearful to open up to their family due to backlash, the person who is struggling in their relationship due to hate from others, or even the person who is battling inner trauma and conflict due to who they are.
Please join in loving arms this month! Throw a rainbow shirt on and even look for local pride celebrations in your area. Trust me, some of the nicest, most accepting people you will meet will be there.
Never forget that love is love! You are worthy and you should have PRIDE in who you are because you are beautiful inside and out.
