I am a hometown kinda girl so I love exploring anything and everything local. Recently Macyn and I visited The Farmory in Columbia, Ca located in Tuolumne County. The Farmory is an indoor, year around farmers market with various local venders, farmers, and small shops. Open Wednesday and Saturday from 11am-5pm, The Farmory offers farm fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh baked goods, kombucha, herbs, handmade items, and more. But you don’t have to be local to visit! It is the perfect stop after visiting close by Columbia State Historic Park or just a fun Saturday adventure with the whole family. Easily located next to the Columbia airport, there is close by parking for easy access. Grab a wagon at the front entrance and go shop from many local booths.
Macyn of course had to stop for a tasty cookie from Calculated Whisks Bakery. Calculated Whisks offers both sweet and savory treats with gluten free, vegan, sugar free/Keto friendly, and just some good old classics like delicious cookies and fresh pretzels. With a little something for the whole family, you can grab and go or enjoy as you shop the rest of the many booths.
After we grabbed our treats, we continued on shopping away. Our next stop was Mountain Microgreens. I had never tried Microgreens but they looked and smelled amazing. Perfect for smoothies, eggs, toast, salad, and cooking in general, Microgreens also offer a ton of health benefits. Packed with nutrients and often rich in potassium, zinc, iron, and magnesium, they are excellent for spicy up your ordinary meals. I ended up using mine in eggs and salads, oh my was it good! 
Afterwards, we continued on through out vendors. Fresh vegetables and fruits that truly spoke for themselves, far better than what I typically find at the grocery store. For the Kombucha lovers out there, there is some delicious kombucha on tap. Even homemade salsa and special gifts. The Farmory is going to become a weekly stop for us not just because I love shopping local, but because they offer such a wide variety of one of a kind goods.
