One of the joys with living in a small mountain town nestled in the Sierra Nevada’s is snow! I have been dying to go up to the snow with the kids so we packed some snacks, got our warm clothes on, and grabbed our Kamik snow boots!
One of our favorite spots that I went to as a child was just above Long Barn, California which is a quick drive from our house. Other than a few times getting a light snow storm, this was the first time McKynleigh had played in the snow and boy, did she just have a blast. We slid down the side of the mountain, threw snowballs, and even tasted some snow.
Every new adventure with these two reminds me just how lucky I am. The smiles as we throw snow balls at each other. Their face as they touch the ice, crisp snow. Macyn licking snow like it’s an ice cream cone. Sliding down the hills as both of them laugh. Memories that I will always cherish.
Luckily, with our Kamik boots kept our feet warm allowing us to have so much fun. Kamik is a family owned Canadian business that has been working to bring the best outdoor footwear for over 100 years. They are a 0 waste manufacturing company and have 100% waste recycling target, even running a Kamik Recycling company. They are modern, cute, and beyond comfortable keeping your toes warm while out in inclement weather. I can not get enough of their Heritage 1898 Collection.
