This past weekend we celebrated our daughters 5th birthday. It’s still so crazy to think that our youngest (and last) baby is now 5 years old. The time has gone by so fast! 5 years ago our family became complete with our beautiful little girl. She is her daddy’s twin with her mama’s attitude. This year when we asked her what she wanted to do she instantly said that she wanted to stay at a hotel and swim in the pool. We decided to take it up a notch and booked a quick getaway to Great Wolf Lodge. We got the birthday package and it ended up being the perfect way to celebrate our girls golden birthday!
We got to Great Wolf Lodge before our suite was ready so we decided to get changed and have fun in the water park. McKynleigh loves the water slides so we spent our time going down all the water slides and swimming in the outdoor pool. In October, Great Wold Lodge has their Howl-O-Ween events happening. The entire lodge is decorated and there are fun holiday events each day including shoes, crafts, special stories, and fun dance parties. After we made it to our suite, we got changed and went back down for some fun trick-or-treating around the lodge.
