Today as we walked our oldest to his first day of kindergarten I held back the tears. Happy tears, of course! Our little boy has grown up so much and today was his first day of kindergarten. I can’t believe how fast the last 5 years have blow by!
He was so excited to be starting kindergarten. This is the longest he has been away from home since before the pandemic hit so I was definitely nervous. Thankfully, all my worries vanished as he got in line with his other classmates with the biggest smile ready to go inside class.
When we bought our house, I was so excited because it was in the school district we had been hoping to get into since our kids were little. I know Macyn is going to thrive and have the best time. I can’t help but be a little sad at the fact my baby boy is no longer little, but in fact a big boy going to big boy school. Cue the mom tears.
