This stay was sponsored by Great Wolf Lodge but all opinions are my own.
My kids had spring break last week and we hit the road for a fun trip! Last fall we visited Great Wolf Lodge Northern California for the media press weekend. We had such a fun time. This time we went back for a night to celebrate the Great Wolf Lodge Spring Breakout!

The kids had no idea we were going to Great Wolf Lodge until I was about to pull into the parking lot. I have never surprised them with a trip like this, but their reaction was priceless. Watch it here.

We arrived a little bit after 3 in the afternoon and went to check-in first. You can now check in on your mobile app too! The kids enjoyed playing some spring games while I was checking in. After we went up to our suite and got changed. This trip we were booked into the Wolf Den Suite and it was perfect for our stay. The kids loved the bunk beds in their own area. Our view from our room was beautiful too!

We went right to the water park to have fun! This is the first time we went just the three of us my husband had some prior work commitments. I was surprised how easy it was to navigate both of the kids alone in the kids after park. They had a complete blast going down all the water slides, wave pool, lazy river, and fun activity pools. McKynleigh braved her first big water slide, and loved every moment of it!

After a couple hours, I decided to order dinner on the Great Wolf Lodge app and picked up on the way back up to our suite. We enjoyed dinner before we went back downstairs for story and dance time. Great Wolf Lodge has a ton of fun, free events for the whole family to enjoy. After an afternoon full of fun, we all decided to go to bed and get a good nights sleep.

In the morning, we got ready real quick and went to grab a yummy donut from Dunkin’ Donuts located on the main floor. They had some fun themed donuts that the kids absolutely loved. We enjoyed breakfast outside in the lounge area before strolling around the grassy field.

Next up was yoga! McKynleigh enjoyed every single minute of yoga. Afterwards, we waited a bit until it was craft and Wiley time. We walked around, looked at all the fun things to do, and grabbed a treat for later. Although we didn’t get Paw Passes this time, we usually do. These are perfect if you plan on doing any of the special activities like bowling, ropes course, mini golf, the candy shop, build-a-bear, arcade, or gold panning.

We finished off our trip spending more time having fun in the water park before making the trip back up to the mountains.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this spring, or even summer, check out Great Wolf Lodge!
