Anyone else still in shock how fast 2021 flew by?
Yeah, me too!
We officially said our goodbyes to 2021 and said hello to 2022. Though 2021 may not have been the year everyone had hoped for, let us celebrate the small victories we did have. 2021 was a big year for us with so many goals hit and so many memories made. I truly can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store.
I know every year everyone makes New Years resolutions. How many people actually follow through? This new year I am challenging you all to not just do your resolutions the first couple days, but the entire year. It can be as simple as finding time each day to practice self-care or perhaps even drinking more water. Whatever your goals may be…
You got this!
As cliche as it may sound, New Year, New You! Take this year and make it yours! Transform your life into what you have always wanted. Become the person you have been longing to be. Let go and focus on what matters. There is no better time than the present.
The other evening my husband and I were talking about our 2022 goals that we have both for ourselves and our family. We often discuss what we want to do next in life and this year is going to be big for us! We have some big goals and I can’t wait to make them a reality.
Let’s manifest 2022!
One of my biggest goals for 2022 is to be more thoughtful and cautious of who I allow in my life. I am determined to make a better effort to only allow those who uplift me and my life. I am saying goodbye the negative Nancy’s and keeping the special people who are positive and uplifting. I have learned that my surroundings have such a huge impact on myself and my well being.
In 2022, I want to take my fitness to the next level and maybe even compete towards the end of the year. I’m happy to have come as far as I have with my fitness journey. I used to dread working out each day and over the last couple of years, the gym has been my favorite time of the day. After having my surgery, I’ve found so much more flexibility and strength in the gym and my workout regimens. I want to work on getting toned and in the best shape of my life. Maybe even do a big hike to check off my bucket list!
One of our big goals as a family for this new year is to get back to traveling. In 2019, we did at least one trip every month and it was amazing to get to travel to different areas and meet new people. I am hoping to be able to get back to traveling California and beyond. Traveling and adventures have always been my passion. I want to visit and see more with my loved ones. We are hoping to visit Montana and possibly the East Coast.
Lastly, one of our biggest goals as a family is to work more on our house and property. This spring we plan on finishing our kitchen. I can’t wait to share more soon! We also would love to get the majority of our property fenced. This was a goal we had last year, but we weren’t able to get around to doing with how busy our fall and end of year months ended up. We would love to work on some landscaping as well.
I am wishing you all a Happy New Year! I hope 2022 is everything you hope for and more.
Xoxo

So cool to hear your experience with exercise. I have a love-hate relationship with it, but I’ll always pursue it. Wishing you all the best with your competition goals, and Happy New Year!
