Toddler approved Apple Cinnamon Goat Milk Pancakes

This blog is sponsored by Kabrita but all opinions are my own.

I have been making these fast and easy pancakes for years! Since my kids were about 8 months old, they have loved finger foods. For breakfast I would make something simple but they began to get bored with it. I was in the kitchen one day and decided to try creating a pancake recipe that would still be easy on their stomach. With just three simple ingredients, these are delicious and perfect for even the fussiest toddlers! I use Kabrita Apple and Cinnamon Organic Goat Milk Porridge as the main ingredient which is gentle for my children’s stomachs but a favorite of theirs. Kabrita has a vast variety of No-GMO Goat Milk products including formula, toddler formula, porridge, and even snack puffs! My son had a very sensitive stomach as a child and goats milk formula was all he could drink. With a casein composition and superior digestibly than cow milk, Kabrita goat milk foods are not just naturally easier to digest but also gentle on tiny tummy’s. No matter if it is for supplementing, weaning, tummy and skin troubles, or just for day to day use, it is the only brand we trust for our little ones stomachs!

As a busy mother of two, easy and fast recipes are essential for me. But I also do not want my kids eating not so healthy foods so I am very conscious of what ingredients I use when preparing food for my children. Kabrita Goat Milk Porridge is not only tasty, but healthy! I wanted to create a better-for-you pancake that my kids would love for years to come. I began with their favorite Kabrita Organic Goat Milk Porridge and added applesauce and one egg to help the texture and form. It ended up being a huge hit! The kids love them and I love how easy they are!

Ingredients that you will need:

1/4 cup Kabrita Goat Milk Apple and Cinnamon Porridge

1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce (can substitute for 1 medium ripe banana)

1 egg

Non-stick pan you can cook with

How to make:

Step 1. Mix 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce and 1 egg in a medium sized bowl. If you are substituting with a medium ripe banana, mash the banana and mix with 1 egg.

Step 2. Combine the applesauce and egg mix with 1/4 cup Kabrita Apple and Cinnamon Porridge. Mix until mixture is smooth.

Step 3. Use about 1.5 tbsp of the pancake mixture and make about 5 pancakes.

My kids love them topped with unsweetened apple sauce, yogurt, or if your child is old enough, local honey. You can also add small pieces of berries such as blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries.

These pancakes are a wonderful option for baby led weaning as they are soft to chew and easy to pick up. They also make great finger foods and breakfast(or snacks even) for toddlers. I love that they can also be stored in the fridge for 48 hours or the freezer. These pancakes are also perfect for meal prepping ahead of time to make mornings a little bit more smooth.

Kabrita has so many healthy and gentle products that are perfect for using in your baby and toddlers diet. My youngest drinks her toddler formula every morning to help give her the extra boost she needs. Kabrita products have good fats, healthy prebiotics, and packed with nutrients making it my go to brand for my children helping ease my mind as a parent.
